Port Explorers for Kids aged 8 to 13.The Explorers squad is all about adventure, fun and friendship. It’s a structured yet informal, focussed on building confidence and technique. The emphasis is on having a go and building skills by experience.
Each training session is tailored to suit the conditions and the skill level of participants. An experienced instructor, skilled in making learning fun for children, leads the squad. Squad members will sail on exciting X3 dinghies. If the weather is not suitable for sailing, the squad will experience sailboards, kayaks, and beach sports.
Squad members can have their skills assessed and earn certificates through the Australian Sailing Start Sailing program upon meeting competency levels.

Participants in Port Explorers must be a member of PMYC.  Membership application details will be send to non-members registering for Port Explorers.
